Meredith is situated beside Lake Winnipesaukee and home to the Stonedam Island Natural Area and the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, and only an 11-mile scoot south to famed Laconia, which will host the oldest major motorcycle rally in the US, Laconia Motorcycle Week, the 95th edition will be held June 9-17 this year. Laconia’s Weirs Beach is the epicenter of the event, which attracts hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts from around the world.
