Eden Prairie is 18 miles southwest of Minneapolis. A few of the area’s offerings include the Chanhassen Dinner Theater; Valleyfair (theme park); Round Lake Park and Beach; the General Store (at nearby) Minnetonka; Paisley Park (museums); Hyland Lake Park Reserve; Wings of the North Air Museum; Canterbury Park (horse racing); Eden Prairie Center (mall); and our favorite, Purgatory Creek Park, mostly because it sounds like it would lead to home.
