  • Ever Wonder What The Wind Chill Temperature Is At Riding Speeds...

     

     

    Note: This chart was updated to reflect the latest calculations accepted by the National Weather Service.  The formula used to calculate these temperatures is... 35.74 + 0.6215T - 35.75(V0.16) + 0.4275T(V0.16)

    where:
    V = wind speed (mph)
    T = temperature (F) 

    This formula is only accurate for temperatures of 60° f and below.

    blurplebuzz Thanks for sharing this.This is why I no longer ride when the air temps get below 45'F, that's heated liner riding.Found out the hard way how much frost bite can hurt.
