Getting Title for bikes with just bill of sales

    i have bought two yamaha motorcycles. i only got a bill of sales for the bikes and i was told that them from a custom bike shop the first bike a guy had fixed by them and didnt have the money to pay for it so the guy left them the bike and the second bike came from the same place but the guy had picked it up in a storage shed buy he got it while buying a whole storage bin for something else but ended up with that i got them for really cheap and ima bout to take the bill of sales in to try and get my titles ..... any advice or words of wisdom other than next time dont buy one unless they put title in your hand .... just kinda worried bout it all and guy seems like he wasnt trying to bs me or anything but you cannt trusth anyone these days so who knows........

  • LCStrat Well, I'd just go through the regular licensing routine that you do with your other vehicles and take whatever advice they give you. That routine also helps in case the bikes were stolen. Any which way you go, you need to have them legal for when you hit the road.
