    So last night went to dunner with Wooly. I decided I wanted a glass of wine with my dinner, usually by now I am on my Crown but for some reason I wanted wine.  Anyway the very young waitress asked to see my ID.  At first I thought this girl was joking but she explained that no she could not serve me without see ing my ID.  So I got my wallet out and pulled my ID out and handed it to her.  She looked at it for a minute, while doing this I joked that questioning my age was not going to get her a bigger tip.   She then handed it back and  I then asked "Okay now that you know when I was born how old am I?"  She could not answer it.  I think it is sad when a person can not figure out 3 of 66 is 49...

    1, I hate being carded! I am 69 and do not tell me it is policy! Change the policy.
    2, Inability of younger people to do simple everyday math without...  more
  • RevBigJohn School isn't like back in the day, they are more worried about feelings so everybody wins the blue ribbon.
  • blurplebuzz I still get carded when I go for drinks,yet it is standard practice just about everywhere now. It is amazing that the younger generation cannot even do simple math.

    The only time I am not carded is at my local Am/Pm store,been going there for so many...  more
