    Applebee's -- Veterans and active duty military receive a free meal from a limited menu, on November 11.

    CentraArchy Restaurants -- Veterans and active duty service members get a free entrée on November 11.

    Golden Corral -- Golden Corral Restaurants' Military Appreciation Night free dinner will be available on November 12, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Military retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserves are all welcome.

    Grub Burger Bar -- Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a complimentary entree on November 11 at all locations.

    Hoss's Steak and Sea House -- Veterans and active duty military get a free meal from the soup, salad and dessert bar on November 12.

    Texas Roadhouse -- Texas Roadhouse locations nationwide will offer veterans a free lunch on November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Offer is good for active duty, retired or former U.S. military.

    54th Street Grill -- Veterans and active duty military get a free entree on November 11.

    Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza -- Veterans and active military get a complimentary small order of Meatballs with Ricotta Cheese on November 11.

    Chicken Salad Chick -- On November 11, veterans and active duty military receive one sandwich or scoop of their choice of chicken salad, one side, a pickle spear, a cookie and a drink.

    Chili’s -- Veterans and active military service members get a free meal from a limited menu on November 11.

    Chipotle-- Active duty military, Reserves, National Guard, veterans and spouses get a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deal from 3:00 p.m. to close on November 11.

    Chuck E. Cheese’s -- Active and retired military members can enjoy a free individual 1-topping pizza on November 11.

    City Barbecue -- Veterans and troops get a free sandwich platter on November 11.

    Claim Jumper -- On November 14, all Claim Jumper locations will provide veterans with a complimentary meal from a special menu.

    Coco’s Bakery -- Veterans and active duty get a free slice of pie on November 11.

    Coffee Beanery -- Veterans and active duty military get a free tall cup of coffee all day on November 11 at participating locations.

    Country Cookin -- Veterans receive a free meal from 2 pm – 8 pm on Tuesday, November 15.

    Cracker Barrel -- Veterans get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake on November 11.

    Denny’s -- Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on November 11, from 5 a.m. to noon.

    Dickey's Barbecue Pit -- Veterans and active military get a free meal on November 11. Dickey’s is also offering anyone in the party that dines with a veteran a free Big Yellow Cup with purchase.

    Grace for Vets -- Car washes from around the world who join this program offer free car washes to veterans and service members on November 11.

    Great Clips – On November 11, veterans and current military members can visit a Great Clips salon on November 11 to receive either a free haircut or the free haircut card to use at a later date. Non-military customers can purchase a service on Veterans Day and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know. Haircuts are redeemable until Dec. 31.

    Home Depot -- Home Depot offers a 10% discount to all veterans on November 11. Home Depot offers the 10% discount year round to for active duty and retirees.

    Rack Room Shoes -- Military personnel and their dependents get a 10% discount off entire purchase on November 11.

    Sport Clips -- Participating locations are offering veterans and active duty service members free haircuts on November 11.

    2017 Veterans Day Events:

    America's Parade -- Veterans are invited to march in this New York City parade on November 11. This year’s Parade will commemorate the 16th anniversary of 9/11, with special recognition of our Afghanistan, Iraq, and other Post-9/11 veterans, as well as our First Responders. It will also mark the 26th Anniversary of Desert Storm. The United States Air Force is this year’s featured military branch. The Army, Marines, Air Force and Navy are also represented.

    The parade is preceded by the traditional opening ceremony at the Eternal Light Monument (5th Avenue at 23th Street, next to Madison Square Park). The ceremony begins at 10:00 AM.

    National Veterans Day Ceremony -- The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery. The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans' organizations and remarks from dignitaries. There are many national and state cemeteries throughout the country that may also be holding Veterans Day ceremonies. Click here for a cemetery listing.

    The Manassas Veterans Day Parade -- On November 4th you can attend the parade that kicks off at 11:00 am from the intersection of Quarry Rd. and Prescott Ave. in Historic Manassas.

    The parade is the largest Veterans Day Parade in Northern Virginia and in the Washington, D.C. area, and will include military units and vehicles, local veteran organizations, military and high school bands, and pipe and drum corps teams.

    Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Veterans Day Celebration -- On November 10th, visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for live music, a civil war encampment, a military vehicle display, and honor guard, and remarks by Vice Admiral Fred Midgette.

    The event is free, but reservations are recommended.

    Penn State Veteran's Day Ceremony - The Penn State Student Veterans Organization will host a Veterans Day Ceremony intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces on Friday, November 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the front steps of Old Main. The ceremony will commence precisely at 11:00 a.m. with the posting of colors by Penn State’s Joint Service ROTC Honor Guard and the singing of the National Anthem.

    Distinguished Speakers will include Retired Navy Vice Admiral James Houck, Penn State’s Veterans Fraternity President George Oliver, and Penn State’s Military Law Caucus President Chuck Deibel. The ceremony will conclude with a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps.

    San Francisco Mayor’s Salute to Veterans Parade: on November 12th at 10AM, SUNDAY, Fisherman’s Wharf Area.

    Parade Route: Start on the Embarcadero at North Point Street, proceeds west on Jefferson Street, pass reviewing stand on Jefferson Street near Leavenworth Street and disband.

    3rd Annual Philadelphia Veteran's Day Parade and Festival - On Sunday, November 5th the parade will start at 12:00 pm at JFK Blvd and North 16th Street. The parade route will continue around City Hall, heading east on Market Street and end at North 5th Street for the Veterans Festival.

    This year’s notable attendees include The United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs, David Shulkin, Grand Marshal, Colonel Joe Marm, the only living Medal of Honor recipient from Pennsylvania, and last year’s Grand Marshal, Tuskegee Airman Gene Richardson. Mayor Jim Kenney, Congressman Bob Brady and City Council President Darrell L. Clarke will also be in attendance, among several elected officials showing support for area veterans.

    Chicago Honor's America's Veterans - On November 11, at 11AM at Soldier Field, 1410 Museum Campus Drive, Gate 0 - South End at the Doughboy Statue. 
    The ceremony will take place in front of the Doughboy statue. The program will culminate with a wreath laying ceremony at the Doughboy, a 21-gun salute, “Taps” and the “Armed Forces Medley.”

    36th Annual Atlanta Veterans Day Parade - On November 11th, 11:11am, the Parade will begin in Downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd. The Parade will proceed south on Peachtree Street, turn right on Baker Street towards Centennial Olympic Park, The World of Coca Cola, and Georgia Aquarium. It will continue on Baker Street and turn left onto Marietta Street. The parade will end at the intersection of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street.

    Greater Dallas Veterans Day Parade - On November 10th, 11AM, the parade will begin with massing of colors and the 11th hour ceremony in front of City Hall. The parade will commence following the official ceremony (approximately 1 hour). The route will start at Reunion Arena, will proceed north on Houston Street, east on Main Street, south on Ervay Street, west on Young Street, south on Akard Street and pass in review in front of City Hall.
    The parade route is similar to prior years. After passing in review, parade units will turn south on Ervay and disperse south of City Hall.
    Military vehicles and equipment, veterans organizations, civic and corporate displays will be available for viewing at 9:30 AM in front of City Hall and will be dismantled after the parade.
