SolarBill's Album: Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge 2012

Two friends joined my wife & I taking our bikes on the AmTrack Auto Train up to the Washington DC area. From there, we rode the Skyline Drive down to the north end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We then rode the length of the Parkway down to Cherokee NC. After that, we did the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, the Hellbender, and the Moonshiner 28 down to Bridal Veil Falls. Then we rode the bikes back home to Florida.

  • SolarBill We got dinner on the train and a continental breakfast as part of the ticket price. They also have a lounge car if you wanna down a beer or some wine.
