I bought this bike, sight unseen, in an eBay auction from a car dealer in Cumberland, Md., in August 2011. The bike had significant corrosion problems and nearly EVERY piece of chrome had to be replaced and there has been almost $8,000 in parts replaced to get it back in good shape. It's now ready for the 2012 riding season! I do have chrome wheels to put on, and hard saddlebags, which are presently being painted to match the bike. I hope to have the new wheels and bags on before the end of March 2012.

The Cobra pipes that were on the bike when I bought it have been pulled off (they were BADLY pitted) and replaced with a stock exhaust I bought off eBay. The bike is super quiet with the standard exhaust. I'm hoping that it will still have good performance (It has a Power Commander III fuel controller and the new intake, plus I removed the pair valves to prevent popping on decel.), but get good gas mileage. The shocks had to be replaced (they were rusting), and I added chrome swingarm covers.
