What a great showing today for the 2023 HOG State Chapter Challenge! This morning at WAWA, we had 39 bikes with 47 riders/passengers that showed up and 2 cars that followed us up. We split into 4 groups and away we went to Colonial Harley-Davidson in Prince George, VA. We combined all 4 groups back together just before we rode into Colonial Harley-Davidson, flying two Chapter flags and it was quite a sight to see! We had at least 4 more riders who rode to Colonial Harley-Davidson on their own along a couple more cars with members. We didn't stay long as the bad weather was moving in but thankfully we made it home with only a few drops of rain. Thanks to everyone who was able to make the trip today. A few folks came up to me and said we had the biggest group of members to show up for the Challenge today. There is a "formula" that is used to determine the winner, based on your total membership, how far you rode and the percentage of members who signed in. We'll see what happens but I am very proud of the showing we had today to support Tidewater HOG. Our Members are the best!!
