Chapter #1, Post 122, Deer River American Legion Riders, invites all riders to join in the ride to Veterans on the Lake located in Ely, MN. This is a fundraiser to help assist Veterans on the Lake resort to continue refurbishing the resort for Veterans and anyone who needs handicap accessibility while vacationing at the lake. Boats, pontoons, water sports, swimming pool, and kayaks have been modified for handicap accessibility. Ride registration starts at 8:30 am at the Deer River Vets Club, Deer River, MN Riders leave at 9am. This is a 3 hour ride the lake including stops and two hours back. Lunch will be served at the lake. $20 donation per bike.
