Don't miss out on a great event for a fantastic cause!! September 15, 2018 is our 7th Annual Riding Into A Better Tomorrow Bike Run & Family BBQ. This is a motorcycle run, but we will have games and activities for non-riders and children as well. All information for the event is on the flyer and on the events page both here and on Facebook. The proceeds from the bike run get donated to The Tomorrow Fund- a local RI non profit organization that helps children with cancer and their families, financially and emotionally. For our 7th year, we are looking to make the event our biggest one yet. We are anticipating selling 1,000 tickets in order to give away a brand new 2018 Harley Davidson Streetglide (or cash equivalent if the winner chooses that option instead). If we do not sell all 1,000 tickets, we will still hold a cash drawing, but the prize will be determined based on how many tickets are sold. We definitely would like to sell the 1,000 tickets!! Myself, along with some friends are putting the event together and we are very excited to see how it turns out. This year is especially important to us, because our friend and founder of Riding Into A Better Tomorrow is fighting another bought of cancer.
Here is an explanation I have written on our Facebook page (A Better Tomorrow) as to what this means to us and what exactly our goal is:

Our friend and founder of 'Riding Into A
Better Tomorrow' Joseph Daigle has had
a long battle with cancer since he was a
young child. The Tomorrow Fund helped him
and his family financially and emotionally
throughout his childhood. As an adult, he
chose to give back to the organization as
a "thank you" and a way to provide other
children and their families assistance
during a very difficult time in their lives.
Joey states, "If I can help one family by my
contribution, then I will be happy."

As Joey's friends, we have wanted to help
see Joey's mission come to life, and have
been involved in making the annual bike run
grow. This is our 7th year, and
currently Joey is battling cancer again,
which he was diagnosed with in August
2017. He is receiving treatment, but his
battle is not over. We, at A Better
Tomorrow, are looking to make this years
bike run the biggest one yet. Being a
married man, with 2 young children, a hard
worker, a good friend, and a person with a
passion to help other children and their
families to not have to struggle during their
battles with cancer, Joey deserves to see
'Riding Into A Better Tomorrow' succeed.
