    Hey Dude, that is my absolute favorite Val Kilmer role.  If you ever watched HBO series Deadwood there was a similar character, Charlie Utter who was WIld Bill Hickock's best friend.

    Haven't seen it Mike but heard of it; I'll check it out when I get the chance; but right now I got to start practicing my best Doc Holliday/ Val Kilmer impersonation for Steph in Kentucky...lol  If Steph can get past the fact I'm 57, short, fat, and bald; I think I might can pull it off...

    Would have to be Steve McQueen.

    'cause he lived life on his own terms, stayed true to his roots and did many very good things quietly not wanting a bunch of attention.

    I would have to go with Sean Connery.  Or maybe it is James Bond that I want to be :-)
