Event Desc

  • Every year the American Legion Riders Post 554 travel to San Antonio to escort wounded servicemen and women and their families from Brooke Army Medical Center to Kemah to attend the Salute to Military Services and First Responders Annual Event. This will be our 12th Annual Ride minus 2020 due to the COVID Pandemic . The families weekend is fully funded and is made possible by the support of The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Services, Kemah Boardwalk, Elks Lodge, Department of Public Safety and the American Legion Riders Post 554.

    This year we are reaching out to the community and local businesses to help raise money to pay for the charter buses to get these hero’s escorted round trip for their fun-filled weekend. Please Join the American Legion Riders, Post 554 for their 1st Blessing of the Bikes and Poker Run Saturday September 17th. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the charter busses.
