  • Join the Walking Warriors Relay for Life team as they host their 1st Annual 100 Mile Bike Run.

    The event kicks off Saturday, June 2nd, at the Athol American Legion located at 325 Pequoig Ave in Athol, Ma at Noon (11am registration). The ride will conclude back at the Athol American Legion 100 miles later where an ALL YOU CAN EAT Spaghetti Dinner will be ready for all of the hungy riders!

    Cost for the event is $25 per bike with driver and additional $10 for a rider which must pay at registration the day of the event. Online registration prior to the event day saves $5!

    Raffles will also be taking place at the spaghetti dinner with all proceeds from this event being donated to the Relay for Life!



    THE ROUTE

    The route will begin promptly at noon from the Athol American Legion. The route is a 100 mile loop heading west to Millers Falls via Route 2 where we will take Route 63 to Route 9 in Amherst. We'll continue down Route 9 to Ware where we will follow Route 32 through Barre, Petersham, and eventually back into Athol.

    Riders will stop in Ware for fuel and water.

    SPAGHETTI DINNER

    The Walking Warriors Relay for Life team will be hosting a public spaghetti dinner following the bike run from 4pm-6pm (riders get early admission at 3pm). The meal will be all you can eat, and will include pasta with sause with or without meatballs, salad, and bread. Non alcoholic beverages will also be available.

    Have the family meet up after the ride for a great meal!
