The Holly Springs Police Department is hosting the first annual Law Enforcement "Torch Ride" to benefit Special Olympics of North Carolina.

Registration: 8am - Kickstands Up: 9:30 am

The ride will proceed via a scenic route from Holly Springs to the Gilliam-McConnell Airfield in Carthage, NC for a rest and refreshments break. The ride will then return to Holly Springs to the Lowes Foods parking lot at 112 Bass Lake Rd where a BBQ and raffle will be waiting on the riders.

Rider entry is $30 and passenger entry is $10 which includes the BBQ lunch and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at registration and at the BBQ until the raffle begins. Torch Run t-shirts will also be available for purchase for $15 (cotton) and $20 (technical material).

For those that do not ride motorcycles the cookout will begin at 10:30am at the Lowes Foods parking lot. Walk up plates will be available for $5 a plate
