Badges & Backpacks’ is a non-profit, 501c3 organization who provides police, fire fighters, and medical personnel the opportunity to find strength through nature. Our mission is to allow those who protect and serve our communities to step off the streets and into nature. Our organization aims to assist the first responders around the country through a program that provides them the equipment and experience to benefit from nature therapy. It is Badges & Backpacks’ belief that through hiking and other outdoor activities, we can give the men and women who protect and serve our communities the tools to find some relief and “Step off the Streets.”

All proceeds from the Badges & Backpacks' 2nd Annual Riding for Responders Poker Run will benefit our organization. Registration will begin at the Canadian River Winery at 12:00 pm. Registration is $15 for a single rider and $25 with passenger. Register online at www.badgesandbackpacks.org/poker-run or at the event.

The first bike out at 1:30 pm / last bike out at 2:00 pm. Canadian River Winery will donate $1 of each bottle of wine sold between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to Badges & Backpacks. All bikes in, at Libby's Cafe, by 5:00 pm. Prizes will be given away for the "Best Poker Hand" and the "Worst Poker Hand." There will be a pay to play 50/50 Cash Prize.
