Event Desc

  • 15 year old Austin West lost his long time battle with depression and took his own life on July 2, 2016. Austin's family has created the "Austin James West Memorial Scholarship Fund" and has made it their mission to be Austin's voice and raise awareness about depression & suicide among teens. The Memorial Ride departs from Whited Ford Truck Center in Presque Isle, heads North towards the Long Lake area and the beautiful scenic St. John Valley and ends in Austins hometown of Van Buren. All funds raised benefit the scholarship fund.
