This year’s Greek Ride will be held this Sunday January 14 start at Panera Bread with a warm cup of coffee and a fresh bagel. Address; 1534 US 441 Apopka Fl. 32712.
Through the prairies we’ll go, viewing lumber mills. South bound along the Green Swamp and the National Witchlacoochee Forest. Then West again towards the Gulf, over creeks, old bridges into Tarpon Springs. Great authentic Greek food will be awaiting the by then starving bothers and sisters among us. Along the cays we go, sponge ships navigating in and out of the harbor. This world renowned sponge center maintains a Greek population creating the true Greek fare like Gyro’s and pastries attracting thousands from abroad.

The route back runs through the largest swamp in the South, the Green Swamp. Teemed with wild life and squatters living of the land.

Start at 9 AM, this is a long ride with 3 P-stops, thus kickstands up at 9:30 AM sharp.
Weather prediction: around 68o sunny and dry. The first Greek Ride without rain.
What to bring: your bike, munching mullah, camera, shades, friends and your biking babe.
