Event Desc

  • Co-founded by burn survivor Trevor Holtan and US Marine Corps Captain David Kuntz, the SoCal Burn Ride is a charity motorcycle poker run in its 4th year and is hosted by Firefighters Quest For Burn Survivors to support locally based initiatives including Direct Patient Services, Burn Prevention Education, Survivor Support Groups and Family Camp.

This year’s Texas Hold ‘Em style "Ride to the Ranch" will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017, starting at Fire Station 84, where there will be a Marine Corps Color Guard Presentation and National Anthem.

We will then head out to Top Rocker Harley-Davidson. There will be one additional stop along the way, with our route taking riders through the Santa Monica Mountains past photographer friend Victory Jon Photography and up the PCH.

The after party will be at Paramount Ranch and include vendors, raffle prizes, live music, food and drink, with beer provided by Fireman's Brew Beverages.

All proceeds from this year's event will go directly to Family Camp, a three-day weekend where burn survivors and their families come together to support each other, gain confidence, and promote healing.
