  • The 5th Annual Ride to Remember our Veterans is poised to make its run through the country roads of northern Guilford and Alamance Counties on Sept. 16, 2017. The Guilford County Sheriff's Motor Patrol Unit will escort the 90-mile ride. Registration starts at 8:30 with KSU at 10 a.m. Summerfield First Baptist Church,2300 Scalesville Rd. Summerfield, N.C., will host the ride. A $25 donation gets you in the ride; $30 for two up. Ride includes T-shirt and lunch, a 50-50 drawing and a silent auction. Proceeds go to help area Veterans.
