  • Help us honor the strength of the human spirit as we honor First Responders Day in Massachusetts.

    This very special 50-mile motorcycle ride is open to everyone and has the unified support of the Yarmouth Area Chamber of Commerce—the Yarmouth Police Community Advisory Team—the men and women of the Yarmouth Police Department—and Police and Fire Departments all over Cape Cod and the Islands, will start at Yarmouth Police Headquarters at 12:00 noon and travel a beautiful and scenic route through portions of Yarmouth—Dennis—Brewster—Orleans—Chatham—and Harwich and end up crossing over the Finish Line on the beach at Parker’s River Beach on South Shore Drive in South Yarmouth.

    Everyone is urged to be in place at Yarmouth Police Headquarters located at 341 Higgins Crowell Road by 10:00AM. A special Opening Ceremony honoring all fallen First Responders will start promptly at 11:30 AM with kickstands up at 12:00 Noon.

    Cost is a $20 donation for each bike and will include a special red white and blue First Responder Freedom Ride Memorial Bandanna.

    Proceeds from the ride will benefit the Yarmouth Police Relief Association, the Yarmouth Police Foundation, and the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Motor Officer Unit which provides specially trained Police Officers to special events and public safety operations on Cape Cod.
