Event Desc

  • Poker run in Monroe, NC and surrounding areas. Event planned by Student Veteran's Organization of Wingate University. Registration is $22 per person. Why $22? On average 22 veterans commit suicide each day. Purple Heart Homes is a local charity established by disabled veterans, to help disabled veterans. They help with home ownership and modifications to homes for all eligible disabled veterans, not just purple heart recipients. Your donation buys: your poker hand, a t-shirt, plate of food, and a good time.
