|Event Description||In 2017, the MotoAmerica season will open at the immaculate Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, and run in conjunction with round three of the MotoGP World Championship.
With its 20 turns, Circuit of The Americas on the outskirts of Austin, Texas, provides racers with plenty of challenges. The immaculate, purpose-built Grand Prix track is 3.426 miles in length and can play host to some 120,000 fans.
The circuit was completed in late 2012 and the track hosted its first motorcycle race, the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, in 2013.
In 2017, MotoAmerica returns to COTA for a third consecutive year. The track is a favorite among racers, teams, and fans.
