This is our 5th Annual Fun Run & Auction to benefit East Texas C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates). CASA is an organization made up of volunteers who become advocates for children placed in the East Texas foster care system. They become a voice for that child. The funds we raise are matched by the state - last year we raised around $7,000.00. We hope to top that this year.
There is a bike run that morning - registration begins at 8:00 a.m. First bike out at 9:00, last bike out at 10:00, and last bike in at 3:00 p.m. High hand wins $250.00. There'll be Karaoke from 11:00 - 3:00. We'll have a 50/50 drawing, there's gonna be vendors, & Leon's serves great food.
At 3:30 p.m. our live Auction will begin. Our Auctioneer this year is Walt Cade from A&E's Storage Wars - Texas!! We've got a lot of great auction items!!!
