Ron's Medical Expenses

As some of you are aware, my eldest son, Ron Jr, was in a terrible off-road motorcycle accident and suffered extensive, sever injuries, even while wearing a helmet and protective gear.  Ron suffered multiple fractures to his skull and face, bleeding of the brain, broken neck, 3 broken vertebra, and a shattered wrist.  His prognosis is changing daily however as of now it is almost certain that will suffer 98% hearing loss, possibly sight in his right eye, if not loose the eye completely, chronic lifetime back pain, and very limited use of his right wrist. Additional neurological prognosis and the ability to function on his own are being updated daily, but even best case scenario is a long road to recovery including full-time care once discharged.

In addition to hospital bills already piling up (above what insurance will pay) and the projected long-term home care, Ron will also need money for basic expenses.  Since he worked for himself as a plumber, if he can't work he can’t make money.  Ron is divorced, however still the primary financial support for his two young children, Katie (10) and Brandon (6).
