MC Clubs

I for one have always been a loner and never felt the need to belong to a club. Just 1 or 2 close buds and i am fine. I ride when I want and dont want to have to make plans around a group. I really dont play well with others. The few close friends I have in this area know that they can count on me if they need any help. Maybe I am just self centered when it comes to ridden but for me being alone on the road going where I want doing what I want when I want makes me happy.

Hey everyone the patch and the idea is kind of a tough in cheek sort of thing. Don't get me wrong ...if I was riding the Dragon down some street and see some old lady getting ruffed up by a couple of dicks....I would come down on them with all the Hell I could bring. The whole point I was trying to make is, as a society we have lost respect for each other. I'm almost to the point where I don't even like watching the news anymore, theres never anymore boy scout stories these days, only low lifes taking what doesn't belong to them, and hurting people in the process.
I understand I alone can't change the world, but I want to go to bed at night knowing I did my little part.

You have heard me say it before......I WILL NEVER GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT!

Yea dragon, it really sucks out there at times don't it. People loseing their jobs, homes, a man right this minute in St. Louis holding hostages at work with an AK-47, little kids being molested, teens and younger shooting up their schools, teens walking around with their friggin drawers down and hats on backwards, teen pregnacy, drugs, babies being murdered dailey in the womb, thiefs stealing from your home, politicians in DC stealing us blind, a President who follows marxist and socialist ideals, the ACLU, muslims professing in the name of allah to kill us all, muslims trying to blow up planes, a health care bill the politicians are trying to stick up our ass's that only enslaves us more...and the shit just goes on and on.

So, what do we do? I don't know, but it seems to me it all starts at home to teach our kids and grandkids whats right and wrong and to ensure they get the lesson being taught. I f we as parents don't do our job then in most cases we have failed....Oh, and walk softly and carry a big stick (or better yet, a peacemaker)....Rant over....Sorry

damn damn damn...Dragon you r right. WE are all witnessing with our ringside seats the demise and collapse of this once great wonderful country at the hands of legions and legions of illegal and homebred animals and savages. Dont get me started on this rap music shit and the lifestyle it breeds, or the ultra liberal policies of our supposed 'representatives'..good people being held hostage to the rampant thuggery runnin havoc thru our streets....i for one realize that Big brother is watchin EVERY internet communique goin on and soon we will reach Critical Mass...Im so worroed About the state of this country and our slow steady march towards Socialism that i actually feel sorry for the kids and grankids who r gonna have to live amidst these ruins of this 'great experiment'.

The problem with Society today in the west is that we have become ruled by money and the whole ethos of consumerism. People don't appreciate what they have and they always want something else and they always want what the other has, hence the break down of marriages and the lack of attentions by parent to the kids.
This has led to the west becoming weak, that is why our governments only go into wars half heartedly and without a complete plan on how to get to the other side of the event. This in turn makes us vulnerable to the attacks that that occur today.
Parents need to parent and teach their kids right and wrong and how to live life right and that money is not the answer to everything. Our laws need to be changed so that by-standers don't get in trouble for saving the woman from being raped or the old man from being mugged.
I could go on but I think you get the picture, to make the west strong and make our society safe and livable in then we need to take control of it.

Sorry for the rant but I see some of my kids friends who allowed to run amok and not have consequences for their actions and that has to be the first step to change!

I shall crawl back into my foxhole now!

I like the patch, NightDragon, I have been looking into Vet MC's because the H.O.G. chapter looked like a joke with all the o'damn it's raining I would have to dry my bike crap. I just want the brotherhood feeling again.

fxrdude, I saw some snot nosed kid (20ish) with his hat on sideways with his hand up trying to keep the sun out of his eyes.... And not to speak about the dumb kids with their pants around their ankles (then they wonder why they get cought), But as my grandfather use to say "Pull your damn Pants up before I do it, and tie it around your neck."

Am a member of ABATE (american bikers active towards education) and so is my little one, a junior member. When I was younger I ran with patch holders and lived the darker side of that lifestyle. There is good and bad in all kinds. ABATE is a organization that fights for motorcyclelist rights, amoung other things, like raising money for families in need, childrens homes, etc. There is a yearly dues but it is of the minimum, and the membership gives you discounts at most bike shops and such. It is not a club but a organization that wants to have a say in our rights as motorcyclelist. We are set up in districts and usally get together regularly for low country boils and just a over all good time. The people in this organization are some of the most caring, well informed folks I know, we go to the state legislator meetings and make sure their is a voice present for the biker community. Every once in awhile our rights must be fought for and I'd like to give props to those in ABATE that take that job real seriously. Sometimes the voice of one speaks the voice of many. There is a website so for those intrested in hooking up in a positive community of brothers and sisters...check it out.

I do it as well... Blame the kids for their disrespect and wanting of things for nothing. But if you think about it, It is not their fault, it is in the parenting. It is something that is handed down from generation to generation. I just won't believe that all of the sudden these kids became the way they are. It's been a break down of parenting over the years, Both parents having to work to almost make the house payment, the parent's on drugs raising their children through a closed door because they do not want their children seeing them waste the money that should be going into the family. The broken family's where one parent is spending a life time in prison. The internet where every child has access to whatever crap there is to see is right there. Kids who watch T.V. and on the news see people burning down business after business, burning police cars, and the list goes on. This is a daily sight for these kids why wouldn't they think it's not normal, everyone is doing it. I'm 64 years old and as a child I did not have to deal with any of the things I have mention here, and if you knew me it would show. So let's start to put the blame where it belongs...
