anything by the Eagles - and Joe Walsh
any from Bob Seager - except from his new album
Green Grass and High Tides - The Outlaws
so many good songs, so hard to remember, it usually depends on the day and what is happening. Songs just pop in my head, and it is harder to get them out than in when riding!!!

Copied from an old forum on top ten lists.
These are on my MP3 player ( as well as others) and  quite often I hit the repeat button a few times when one of these comes on.

My top ten road songs while riding.
Especially on smooth twisting roads (gets me in the mood for draggin' floor boards. )

    1. Green Grass & High Tides - Outlaws
    2. Fire on the Mountain - Marshall Tucker Band
    3. Hot Blooded - Foreigner
    4. Not Fade Away - Buddy Holly
    5. Uneasy Rider - Charlie Daniels Band
    6. Clyde (played electric bass)(whoop whoop) - Waylon
    7. The Road Goes on Forever - Robt Earle Keene Live version
    8. 52 Vincent Black Lightning - Del McCoury Band or Richard Thompson
    9. Chicken Truck - John Anderson (it happend to me in Sturgis, a frickin feather storm)
10.On The Road Again - Willie

    +1 on Bob Seager
The one I wish I could turn off is "Against the Wind" - "deadlines & commitments - what to leave in, what to leave out"
When riding usually think about what I SHOULD be doing instead.

my ipod is loaded. Anything that makes my head bop and me tap my toes. (my friends all laugh at me when I do that but it makes the ride more enjoyable.) Some scenery makes me play some blues and totally relaxes me...

Can't go wrong with anything from Metallica! I find myself busting the speed limit by many numbers when I have Metallica pumping from my IPod.
