When riding a motorcycle, whether it be with a group or when you come upon other riders, the most convenient way to communicate is by using some standard motorcycle hand signals. A few of these hand signals are common driving knowledge whether you are in a car or riding a motorcycle and are specially for safety - Right Turn, Left Turn and Stop. I typically use both, my motorcycle's lighted signals and hand signals when I am turning or stopping to ensure I gave as much indication as possible to what I am doing. The additional Motorcycle Hand Signals are a simple way to communicate your intentions or instructions to other riders. If you frequently ride with the same group of riders you may want to come up with a few hand signals unique to common things your group communicates between riders.
