Event Desc

  • The “Veterans Honor Ride” is an escorted motorcycle fundraiser designed to honor our nation's Veterans and raise funds for the local Military and Veteran Resource Center (MVRC) in Orange County, CA. In addition to this fundraising effort, we have embedded three public events to honor all Veterans with special emphasis to "Welcome Home" our Vietnam Veterans. We’re expecting to have the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration display on hand for the public and Veterans to view as well as a large number of local Vietnamese-American Veterans who served in the South Vietnam alongside our Troops.

    * START LOCATION:
    - Huntington Beach Pier Plaza. 405 Pacific Coast Hwy. Huntington Beach, CA 92648
    - Complimentary coffee, beverages, and snack available
    - Live band playing during registration hours
    - Registration Hours: 7:30-9:30 am
    - Opening Ceremony: 9:30-10:00 am. Honoring Veterans
    - Kickstands Up: 10:00 am

    * MID LOCATION:
    - Long Beach VA Hospital. 5901 E. 7th Street. Long Beach, CA 90822
    - Visiting and honoring wounded and sick Veterans
    - Complimentary snacks and beverages available

    * END LOCATION:
    - American Legion Post 716. 3252 Florista Street. Los Alamitos, CA 90720
    - Special acknowledgement to "Welcome Home" Vietnam Veterans
    - Live band, drawings, and vendors
    - Food available
