Event Desc

  • The 3rd annual Lyme Aide event will benefit the Sweeneys, a local family residing in West Chicago, IL.

    Jim Sweeney is a Lieutenant currently serving the Franklin Park Fire department for 23 years.

    After years of mysterious illnesses, about 4 years ago his wife, Wendy, was diagnosed with Lyme disease.
    Soon after, their 6 children ages 10-19 were diagnosed with late stage chronic Lyme disease.

    Wendy was a pediatric nurse for 22 years and had to leave her job to manage the staggering amount of full time care she and her children require.

    Please come out and support a first responders family in honor of 9/11!

    After party with food, entertainment, vendors, and more.....family friendly!
