  • On Saturday, September, 17, 2016, the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home Assistance League will host its Thirteenth Annual Ride for Freedom to benefit our Veterans. This is a motorcycle poker run that will travel approximately 90 miles through the Ozarks. Top two hands win along with low hand. The poker run is open to all motorcycle riders 18 years and older. Cars are also welcome. Last bike out at 10:30 am, last bike in at 1:30 pm. Pre-registered fee of $25, day of event $30. For entry fee riders will get one poker hand and one meal. Pre-registered riders guaranteed a T-shirt. Location of poker run is Missouri Veterans Home, 1600 S. Hickory St., Mt. Vernon, MO.
