The original 2010 "Brittany Rebecca Helton Memorial Ride" in Muncy, PA, evolved into the "Bheltz Ride For Life Poker Run" in 2012 and has grown to two different states PA and SC. Some of Brittany's greatest joys in life was seeing her parents in uniform, animals, and being able to help others who struggled to help themselves; even though she forgot the number one cardinal rule of helping oneself first. Needless to say, we put our minds together in 2011 and came up with a way that would benefit all of Brittany's greatest joys which, led us to a awesome charity called "Pets For Vets" that focuses on pairing a shelter animal with a veteran who struggles with PTSD. However, we also couldn't forget the individual through all of this and also donate half of the proceeds to a local commuter college student and of course the other half to "Pets For Vets". Loosing one individual to suicide, is to many but every 14 seconds is an abomination. So, please help us help all, by coming out on Aug 20th for our 6th Annual Ride For Life Poker Run at the Muncy American Legion. All are welcome!
