All the proceeds of the Memorial run go to the William Walter Catch a Fish Day . https://www.facebook.com/groups/424468587645245/ The catch a fish day was brought about by many of our family and friends wanting to do a second memorial run. Lori and I discussed it and agreed to do them only if the proceeds would go to a day to get young children interested in fishing like William was. Thus came William Walter Catch a Fish Day. The city and businesses and so many people that contributes to the memorial runs and the fish days is what makes it possible. The day of fishing , the children get new poles and bait and tackle to fish with , durring the day the ticket numbers will be drawn and many fishing tackle will be given out . Trophies and gifts are awarded to the winners . ALL of the children get to take their poles and tackle home with them to use and enjoy. It gets the family together and can catch fish and tell lots of stories for many years to come. Thank you all for helping in our way to keep this going.
