my father in-law has a 1999 harley fatboy and the odometer knob broke off is there any way i can take it apart to fix it or do i have to buy a new one? any help would be great.

Grunt 1266, your forum title says 1991, but your post says 1999. I think ya must mean '91 since the '99 would be electric switch which is easily replaced.In any event do a google search for speedometer repair. I found several within a few miles of where I live.

Check this out with your Harley Parts Department and see If this is what your looking for. Not sure If it is but I was told to ask you to check...Let Us Know
