I know Ya'll don't get why I post this stuff.  After-all, it's been TOO long since I had a bike.

I love readin' the Summer posts.  The Pic's...the rides.

And I still feel that moment.  When you know it's time to cover "her" for the season, to come.
I'll never forget that.  How I hated, and dreaded that.  How, it meant months of limb-numbing cold. 

And the month's spent, dreamin' of that FIRST good weather day.  Just to RIDE. 

It's been more season's for me, than I can say.  (or want too...)
And I'm startin' to doubt, that I CAN ride...like I used to.
I'm a BUNCH older now.  And then there's the cell-phones.
Damn, the CELL-PHONES!!! 

I'm old enough to know, I've seen too many go down, because of a cage-drivin' narcissist, 
and their damn NEED to be adored. Uncapable of goin' ten feet, without recognition...

That's what scares ME, now.  Full helmet?  You bet.  Once your brain has been opened up...
that's a given.

But, til they day they throw dirt on the box, or the day my ashes are spread between
A1A and the ocean?  I'mma ALWAYS BE A BIKER.

Personal ride bell. I like that. And I'll be remembering that once we get back in the wind. It's been a winter summer for us. What with my back surgery, Gypsy's back surgery, knee replacement issues, etc. The bike has been mostly idle. And so, I'm counting on the winter of '14-'15 to be a speedy one, our house to sell, and then a wonderful move to Southern Alabama. You bet Tweek, you will always be a biker and I promise (hear me now), I promise that Gypsy and I will see you one day in Jacksonville.

there is not a whole lot in life that stops that love or quenches the thirst for it.
