FLH Rear tire question

Does anyone run the Dunlop MU85-16 rear tire instead of the MT90 on the FLH?

It looks like it has a higher load and slightly wider but, may pose a rubbing problem on the belt drive.  Does anyone know if that's true?

    Thanks, Jim

Depends on the year of the bike. I run a MU on the 2005 and the 79 but the 85 I have to run the MT belt width

We install many of the higher load Metzler's on bikes with no clearance issue on them. They are a bitch to install though!
Oops, my bad.  You're asking about a Dunlop.  Excuse me!

I get my Dunlop Mu 85 from Dennis Kirk. I have ran them for a couple of years on my 08 glide and have not had any problems with clearance.

Should have no problem with belt clearance
