Steve Goodman was one of those Great Songwriters who never got the popular recognition he deserved. He was modestly successful and friend to many great recording artists. Sadly Leukemia took him in 1984. Do a wiki search and there is a short bio there. A good story on how City of New Orleans was recorded. ______________________ |
