Laconia Rally is it worth the ride from southern California i have always wondered thanks for your replies!

I dunno about the ride from California but I came from Ireland a few years back, flew into Boston and rode up there for a fantastic party, it really is a great week, but, the atmosphere at Daytona is much better, I think Laconia was a "city boys" rally, wheras daytona is a mix of all sorts...but it was a great week

I'm more of a fan of Daytona - if you're making the trek, I think it's more fun -

oh and the weather is sketchy in the NorthEast that time of year - rainy - just my opinion

Laconia is good but like HiJinx said, the NE weather is always sketchy. But if you take the scenic route from CA the RIDE will be the best part. My philosophy is it the journey and not the destination.
