Last week at a Dallas High School students began a snow ball fight that ended with police and a report of a gun present. Several punches, gang signs and transport to hospitol....Dayton Ohio a student snowball fight ended with police arresting a 14 year old male for knifing a student. I and my classmates had many snoball fights. I , my children and their friend had snowforts and armed conflics of the white stuff.. When did a snowball fight have to become deadly??? Do the kid not know how to "PLAY" ?? |

Dear Gawd!! Please why did ya have to ask? It all starts with us as parents in MOST cases. Then there is the "Its all about me, myself, and I generation as a result of poor parenting and ****** up government. Then there's this idea of political correctness gone amuck...Ok...no more before I get my ass tossed outta this joint cause if I really said what I wanted to; Lucky would be busy for a week deleting my shit... ______________________ Amendment 28Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States . |

Yeah, it is a sad commentary... This (quoted from KYW news in Philly) started out as a snowball fight even though they didn't mention it in the article. And people ask me why I have a carry permit. Teens Charged in Center City Rampage
Chaos in center city Philadelphia as dozens of rowdy teens invade The Gallery shopping mall, and then start brawling in the streets. It all started around 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon when dozens of young people were thrown out of The Gallery for unruly behavior. Police say about 150 teenagers from several high schools then went to the streets and started a large snowball fight around City Hall and some fights broke out. The teens then stormed into Macy's department store, throwing and damaging merchandise, according to eyewitnesses: (Witness #2): "There were definitely a couple of security people trying to stop them." "We’re starting to see these things pop up more and more frequently across the country, actually. So, it is an issue. We do monitor the Internet. But a lot of this stuff is password protected. So, unless you have someone who is a part of that group who is willing to provide the information to you, also, it’s very, very difficult." ______________________ |

it is a combination of things together that make it so there is no responsibility for anything you do anymore. That is what is so aggravating. You can't just fix one thing to make it better. for example; I own a tire store. One day we found a kid taking tires from our fenced in area where we store them and rolling them down a hill behind the store to see how many cars he could hit with them. He did quite a bit of damage. We drug him into the store and called the police. They arrived and said we should have had better protection around the tires to keep this from happening. I replied that this is a 6' fence and it is locked what more do I have to do. He replied to put barbed wire on top of the fence. I asked him what happens when someone hurts themselves, and he replied that I would be liable for that too. So, the police called the parents and they came down to pick up the kid. The parents did not care at all about the damage done by their kid. they said, if you don't like it, sue us. the police would not prosecute, the parents did not care. We turned it into our insurance and they took care of the damage, but would not go after the family because it would cost too much, so instead they raised our insurance rates. ARGH!!!!!! |

My wife teaches in a Dallas Middle School. Same school same room for 35 years. Teachers are leaving because the school will not enforce dress code and back teachers efforts of enforcing rules. Wifes attempts to remove a defiant 13 year old male gang member has to go through 6 steps of documented offences while he laughs at everyone. The ACLU has caused a lot of problems in a school where White is minority. |

The difference is the kid who made it and threw it couldn't sit comfortably for a week from the discipline his dad gave him, and he was grounded for the rest of the winter. I had a mild concussion., and a lifelong souvenier. |
