....Atco Drag Strip.....the home of Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins...many fond memories of my ol man taking me there on a Friday night watching Grumpy bang gears with his 1968 Pro Stock Camaro... "Grumpys Toy"...back in the "70,s"....And who can forget the Funny Cars...rumbling up to the light Tree ....flames blasting out of the sides of them...then roaring down the 1/4 mile in a blurrrr....everyone holding their ears at they shot by in a split second, and before you could utter...Holy Shiiiii........the chutes were already deployed.... ......welcome from a former jersey boy..   |
