Actually happens more often than you would think - or hope. I actually have heard recently about a lot of the quick release stuff being stolen too - like detachable windshields, back rests, luggage racks, etc. There was an incident at the Laughlin River Run a few years back where 20 or 30 windshields were stolen one night from bikes in the hotel parking lots. And casino hotels normally have pretty good security for their guests, but it takes seconds to get these items off the bike! ______________________
