 DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER!

youtu.be/ivvR-MzuwpI

Brukus Motorcycle Parts' very first product was designed to prevent what this video shows can happen. The Quick Release system used on Harley baggers and Victory Cross Bikes allows for easy theft for locked bags AND does nothing to prevent the pins breaking or coming loose and the bags falling off while traveling down the road.

SaddlebagSecure prevents both! This kit secures your bags to your bike easily and inexpensively.

You can get SaddleBagSecure right here in our Brukus CycleFish Store or check it out at brukus.com

Here is another thing: all Harley "round type" ignition keys will unlock the locking gas cap cover on any ElectraGlide.

There ya go, another product, a replacement gas cap cover lock that has it's own key!

It's amazing how many securing products are needed. We continue to have customers contact us about new ones. Right now working on a product to secure the Tour Pacs, Detachable windshield for Softails, and Detachable fairings. And we've had requests for a system to secure the LED lights, etc. More requests than we have the time to develop!

It just shows the sad state of things today.

Thanks for the info. I'll cross post this on the Victory Motorcycle Club Forum.

While I've never heard of anyone's bags getting ripped off, you sure don't want it to happen!

Actually happens more often than you would think - or hope.  I actually have heard recently about a lot of the quick release stuff being stolen too - like detachable windshields, back rests, luggage racks, etc.

There was an incident at the Laughlin River Run a few years back where 20 or 30 windshields were stolen one night from bikes in the hotel parking lots.  And casino hotels normally have pretty good security for their guests, but it takes seconds to get these items off the bike!
