I recently viewed on the net somewhere that someone is manufacturing a P Pad or suction seat with a backrest attached to it and I cannot find it again. I think it was here on Cyclefish but I am not sure. Can anyone help? |

I'm not saying there's not one out there, but when you think about it, if your passenger is leaning back wouldn't that put pressure on the forward suction cups?????? Seems like the front cups may loose suction, and that would be a very bad sitution. Just wondering Night Dragon ______________________ |

It's not really for leaning back on but it would be great to keep passenger from flying off the back. Sort of like a little security for the passenger JIC they weren't ready for a little throttle. |

Was it the Heartland USA seat? I believe you have to have their struts to make this one work though. http://www.heartlandbiker.com/riderstyleaccessories.shtml |

I think for that price I'd invest in one that fastens to the struts...unless you're not real fond of your passenger. |

Hey I checked out that web site with the back rest on the lick and sticks......I have to say after seeing them they are actually pretty cool looking, a little bit pricey, and if you bought one I would stick to the lowest profile back rest possible. I believe with one of the low profile models it would be ok. The passenger is really not going to lean back on this back rest, just more or less rest her butt there. I think the taller ones would not be safe, and I didn't like those anyway. Cool Turk after checking out your scoot, one of those would look Bad Ass on the fender. Dragon ______________________ |

I am thinking the same way Dragon. I had someone fly off last year and I felt like crap after it happened. If I go with a bolt-on, it would cost $600. to $1000. and the struts would have to be replaced. This would be a a cheaper route, keep the profile of the bike and keep someone from slipping off the back again. Thanks for all your comments. |
