This was a message I got from a fellow club mate the yesterday

Hi All,

Derek Dunphy rang me with the sad news that John Murphy had died over the weekend. He asked me to send you the details of the Funeral arrangements.

I have copied and pasted a message of thanks from Gemma which also gives details of the funeral. May he Rest In Pease.

Matt

Hi everyone,
Thanks once again to everyone for their thoughts and wishes. Thanks to everyone who phoned Andy and myself with their wishes and offers of support.

I've been onto John's mum and the funeral arrangements.

John's body is going from Dublin to Cork on Monday, but the directors have asked for that to be private.

On Tuesday John's body will be taken from the funeral directors in Cork, being CHARLES SULLIVAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS in TURNERS CROSS. His mum has asked if any of you could lead the hearse from there to John's mum's house in Mahon to arrive around 2pm. So if anyone could make it, meet at Charles Sullivans at 1pm-1.30pm.

On Wednesday morning, the funeral will take place in HOLLY CROSS CHURCH in MAHON at 11am, going to the cemetary that is within walking distance of the church.

I hope that's all the information needed.

Thanks in advance to everyone and remember John would want you to make as much noise as you can.. he always wanted to go out with a bang.

Gemma

And logging in to Youtube I got a video recommended from MADCLOWN

I only met John the once and he seemed like a genuine fella.
I am sure I speak for all of us when I say our thoughts go out to his family.

Prayers are with the family for peace of mind and hearts. Just know the big guy is riding with Jesus and hauling a## through the clouds. One more on our side up there.

Thank you, as I said I only met him the once but a fair few of my buddies knew him well and they have been shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.
The custom bike scene in Ireland has lost a major contributor and a great talent.
