Sturgis South

I was wondering if anyone had been to past Sturgis South rallies in Sturgis, MS. I have been thinking about going this year, and was wondering if anyone could give me some information about the rally.

Never been but many from down this way attend and say it's a good rally to attend.

I live just down the road from Sturgis, been attending the rally since I was 12. Even though we live so close, my hubby and I camp at Glencoe every year. It's just easier than trying to drive home at night--lots of critters on those roads! Besides that, the campground is my time to see many friends from across the country that I only get to see at this time of year. Pretty much the same people have been camping in this little section of Glencoe for more years than I can count and we all come together during Sturgis to ride, reminisce, eat, drink & be very merry!
There is something for everyone--just like any other rally--camping, riding, concerts, games, entertainment, shopping and just about anything else you could think of. The scenery out here is just beautiful! I can leave my house at 8 am, ride all day and be home by dark without ever having traveled the same road twice!
So come on down! We'll have a great time!

Haven't done the MS Sturgis rally yet.  Planning on doing the Kentucky Little Sturgis Rally in July.  It's off the hook!!!

Oops, my bad, did not see that until well after my post, but I have been to that one too. First time I actually cruised through that part of the country. Beautiful, but there is a Bapbtist church on every other corner down there! And the towns are all like 5 miles apart! Way different experience for me! Cool though--loved all the food stands in the empty parking lots! And no I did not ask, nor did I want to know what I was eating! I just love food--my second favorite past time!

Ha! When you grow up in a large Mexican family in a very small rural area--you learn to not even look in the oven!
