I'm sure there's one here somewhere I just haven't found it yet. Every year is always someones first time, not everyone has friends to go with or knows where to meet folks. I been going off and on since the sixty's, sure has changed over the decades. If you like racing, the reason BikeWeek started, this is a full schedule for the weeks events between the track and stadium. www.amaproracing.com/ There's alot of police there, misbehaving anywhere on the roads is a good way to get a ticket, eye protection at all times is mandatory, if you have a full face helmet on sitting at a traffic light and raise it up for some air, if you ain't wearing glasses... you might get a ticket. if you rev your motor... you might get a ticket. if you do a little wheely... you might a ticket. if you flash your booby's... you might get a ticket. Get the idea? The Police want from the racetrack to Main Street Children safe for familys and they encourage you to leave town to any of the other potential party spots to have fun. For example the Iron Horse Saloon, my favorite place. The Police will be there directing traffic by the train load but you will NOT see them leave the pavement bothering folks. All the years I been going there I never see them walking around the many different bars and places to go there or across the street from it. Destination Daytona is another spot to see north of the Iron Horse on Rt1 at the I-95 ramp, Bruce Rossmeyers Place (r.i.p.)......... Where's your favorite place to party? |
