Shit....It's just a personal thing. I've had several jap models, WAY more expensive than my Sporty, maybe more reliable, time will tell. Surely better on gas, range, blah blah blah........I just like the way the damn thing looks in it's simplicity. And since I like it's looks and sound, I like the way I feel when I'm on it. Not the vibration because its engine is a hard mount, but the "good vibrations" my bike puts in my soul. Slung low, with a thwaapppa when I goose it.....shit, it doesn't say Harley-Davidson on it anywhere. My shirt does cause I think it will get me laid a little more by the way the Mrs. looked at it in the shop today. But, I've had a guy even ask what kind it was. Kinda made me feel good that I changed it up just enough that some youngin couldn't peg it down........Once again, it's about the soul....cause it's better to have joy in your soul than soap in your hole...If a Schwinn makes your soul warm...ride the feck out of it!
