I was outside of a club called Gary's in Norfolk, back in the day. My buddy walks out with this chick he's been dancing with all night. You know this is an authentic sea story because.......now this is no shit, the first time that I was in Singapore some of my shipmates suggested we all go to Boogis Street around 2300 for some late night food and entertainment. Being game, I agreed. Ordered some shrimp/green curry soup and after nearly 30 yrs am still gradually regaining feeling of the tastebuds. Not your grandmother's curry. Around midnight the area began to fill up with the most beautiful women I had seen in that small an area ever. Eventually one of the came to our table, bent over and whispered in my ear with a proposition. Imagine my surprise when discovering the babe was a baritone. The so called beautiful women were all transvestites. My shipmates all had a good laugh at my expense. Damn, they were good looking, too!
