New Photo Album Permission Settings

CycleFishAdmin wrote 9 months ago, Modified 9 months ago Due to numerious requests we have change the permission settings on the photo albums for all users with a basic Personal Account. In the past users could set the viewing permissions to allow their photo albums to be viewed by All Registered Users, their Friends, or just Themselves. However there was now way to make the album Public so that non-CycleFish members could see them. We have changed that and you can now set the permissions for who can view a photo album to "Everyone" meaning that anyone can view the album, whether they are a CycleFish member or not. Of course you still have the ability to allow only Registered Users, Your Friends, or Nobody to view an album. The settings for this are directly below the Album Title and Description when you add a new Photo Album, and each Album you create here on CycleFish will have its own unique settings depending on what you choose. Any Albums you have created in the past are not available to everyone unless you go back in and change the settings. To do this go to My Apps (above) and select Photos. Find the Album you wish t change the settings for and click Edit. On the Album Edit page click Edit Album Info and change the settiings. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes" Note: This only applies to users with a Personal Profile. Permissions on Business Profiles are based on the type (level) of Business Profile you have. |
