A few members have reported that some of the CycleFish emails are still being sent to their Spam or Junk mail folders. We have been in touch with the major mail providers, Yahoo, gmail, HotMail, etc, and are being told it is due to our rapid growth (a good thing). As you can imagine our system sends out a lot of email everyday...not just the bulk stuff like newsletters, but the normal notices like when you have a message or comment. Since we kind of came from nowhere and grew quickly to a large network, the mail carriers have no history and tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to flagging spam. All of the major email carriers have agreed to review our site, and if all looks good (which it will) they will remove the flagging of our mail. But these are big companies and I don't see this being on the top of there priority list. In the meantime there is something you can do to ensure you receive all of the mail from our system. You need to include the two email addresses below in your "safe sender list". Most email programs have a place where you can add email addresses which you never want blocked, or flagged as spam/junk mail. These setting vary from email program to email program, but can normally be found under Options or Tools. Some email programs, like Yahoo, require you to locate the message in your spam folder, open the mesasage and then click the Not Spam button. These are the addresses you want to add to your Safe Sender list... |

Thanks for the tip. I have never received the email version of the newsletter. I'll give this a try. |
