Tip - Including Pictures in Forum Posts

So if you are getting messages like "I can't see the picture", but you can see it...here's why. You most likely included an image location that is not available to the public (i.e. a picture that was embedded in your email like yahoo or gmail). The problem is that you need to be logged in to YOUR email to see the picture...even if you embed it on another site. So if you are attmpting to embed a picture with an address like this... http://us.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/ya/download?mid=blahblahblahblah There is a good chance no one else will see it. To use a picture from your email, the easiest way is to save the picutre on your computer, then use the Upload Picture function in the forum post. Or upload the picture to somewhere public (like your CycleFish photo album, or a photobucket album), then use that address. This won't make sense to all, but those who are using this feature should understand. |
